This is a software distribution web site which allows University of Minnesota departments to purchase software for University of Minnesota use to be paid for with University of Minnesota funds at significant discounts off standard retail prices. The University holds large quantity contracts for the licenses available on this site. Doing so brings the cost per license down significantly and allows the cost savings to be provided to individual UMN colleges, departments and units. Budget numbers entered during the order process will be sent to OIT in a monthly report and they will process the charges to your department.
